Ivanhoe Elementary is a public school for kids in Los Angeles, California. It is in a big city. There are about 432 students at the school, which serves kids from kindergarten to fifth grade. There are 18 full-time equivalent teachers at the school, which means that there is one teacher for every 24 students. It provides structured lessons in the classroom that help students do well in school and make friends. English language arts, math, science, and social studies are the main subjects at Ivanhoe Elementary. There are also programs that help students be creative and think critically. The students come from many different backgrounds, and there are about as many boys as girls (51% girls and 49% boys). About 17% of the students are poor, which means they don't need as much money as some other urban schools in the area. According to data from U.S. News, 73% of students were good at math and 81% were good at reading. This means that they did well in school. The money is the same as what the Los Angeles Unified School District gives to each student.
