R. J. Neutra Elementary is a public K–5 school in Lemoore, California, with about 424 students. The school has about 17 students for every teacher, which means that classes are small and students can get help with their schoolwork. According to academic performance data, about 67% of students meet or exceed proficiency standards in math, and about 72% do the same in English Language Arts. R. J. Neutra Elementary focuses on structured literacy instruction, math fluency, and a curriculum that meets state standards, all of which are supported by targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities. The students come from a wide range of backgrounds, just like the people who live in Lemoore. Most of them are from minority groups, which is common in Central Valley schools. The amount of money spent per student is in line with the average for California public schools and helps pay for classroom materials and student services. The school is in a neighborhood with moderate housing costs and a lot of families, which is good for the school. R. J. Neutra Elementary School has strong academic results, especially in reading, and students do well in all of their core subjects. This school is working hard to be one of the top elementary schools in California.
