Students at F. D. Roosevelt Elementary recently worked with Los Angeles artist Stephanie Mercado to help design a new community mural near the school library. Fifth-grade students shared drawings and ideas that were used as inspiration for the artwork, turning the project into a creative collaboration. The mural is expected to become a lasting campus feature, highlighting student creativity and adding a new visual landmark for the school community.
