SOAR High (Students On Academic Rise) is a public early college high school on the Antelope Valley College campus in Lancaster, California. It has about 450 students in grades 9 through 12 and is known as one of the best schools for its integrated collegiate curriculum. The school has about 25 students for every teacher, which makes it a tough place for students to get both a high school diploma and an Associate's degree at the same time. The student body is made up of people from many different cultures. 89% of the students are minorities, and 57% of the students are low-income. The student does very well in school, with a 68% score in math and a 91% score in reading. SOAR High (Students On Academic Rise) is one of the best schools in the Antelope Valley Union High School District. It also helps students get ready for college entrance exams like the SAT and ACT. It is known as one of the best schools for motivated students because it offers a unique way to get to college and do well there, and it is one of the best high school in California.

SOAR High School is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. This is part of its mission to be an innovative Early College program that lets students earn college credit while they are still in high school. The school was recently named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School, a prestigious award that shows how dedicated it is to closing achievement gaps and maintaining high academic standards. Students are currently benefiting from expanded STEM and AVID programs, which provide specialized support and advanced technical training to prepare them for competitive university pathways.
