Williams (Spencer V.) Elementary School is located at 12700 Ardis Avenue. The school serves grades K–5 with an enrollment of 750 students. The student–teacher ratio is 24:1. Williams Elementary is still a great place for students to learn and do well, thanks to its status as an Apple Distinguished School, which gives them access to world-class learning materials. The school recently showed how much it cares about the arts by having students celebrate local culture through music at the DUSD Mariachi Festival. Williams students are also in charge of STEAMworks, a summer program that gets kids interested in science and engineering by letting them do hands-on activities.
