PUC ECALS is currently improving its leadership-focused curriculum by adding community service-learning projects that let students work on problems in their own neighborhoods while earning academic credit. The academy recently improved its learning labs with new technology to help with more complex STEM projects and group research by students. This semester, the school is also offering a new series of Early College seminars to help students learn the study habits and organizational skills they need to do well in college-level classes.
Q1. Can students take AP classes at PUC Early College Academy for Leaders and Scholars (ECALS)?
Ans. Yes, students can get ready for college-level work by taking Advanced Placement classes and tests.
Q2. Are there advanced classes available?
Ans. Yes, of course! Honors and AP classes at PUC Early College Academy for Leaders and Scholars (ECALS) push students to think critically and do their best work.
Q3. How do parents find out about their child's academic progress?
Ans. The district's online portal lets students see their grades and attendance.
Q4. Do students get help with standardized tests?
Ans. Yes. Yes, of course! The school has resources to help students get ready for the SAT and ACT tests.
Q5. Does PUC Early College Academy for Leaders and Scholars (ECALS) encourage new ideas?
Ans. Yes, project-based learning lets students think critically and come up with creative ways to solve problems.
