Latest News

The media is paying a lot of attention to Curie Elementary right now. The reason is that the community has finished the Curie STEAM Academy's annual after-school program. It was very popular with families this year, so it reached its full capacity, with some grade levels having a waiting list. The STEAM Academy focused on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. It gave students extra time to learn outside of regular school hours by combining homework help with hands-on activities and creative exploration.

Curie Elementary is also still taking part in district-wide expanded learning programs that focus on after-school programs as the most important ways for students to grow physically and mentally.

The school leaders are getting ready for winter break and plan to use the feedback to make the STEAM programs better next year and help the students keep growing.
