Cesar E. Chavez Elementary School held an awards ceremony honoring student leaders in citizenship and character on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Students were honored for their responsibility, collaboration, and respect towards their peers and staff. The school also initiated an educational program centered on gardening for students. Students could apply science knowledge through hands-on activities involving the environment. It was highlighted by the staff how these activities will benefit students in relation to academic standards and application in real life.
