Maidu Elementary is in the Roseville area at 1950 Johnson Ranch Drive. It has 425 students in grades K–3 and a student–teacher ratio of 21:1. The student body is made up of 48% females and 52% males, and the data shows that 52% of them are good at math and 72% are good at reading. The school is a safe and caring place for young children to learn and grow. The culture on campus is all about encouraging a love of reading and basic learning. Maidu Elementary is organizing its annual spring book fair to benefit the school library and literacy programs. New student enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year begins this month through the DCJESD online portal. The school is implementing new safety protocols as part of the district's 2026 campus security enhancement plan.
