The district recently praised Del Rio STEM Academy for creating a safe, positive, and fair school environment that puts the health and happiness of students first. The academy keeps coming up with new ways to teach. Recently, they started new projects to make hard math concepts easier for everyone to understand and use. Community involvement is still strong because a bigger after-school program for the 2025–2026 school year was a success.
Q1. Does Del Rio Elementary work with nearby colleges and universities to help students with STEM subjects?
Ans. The academy works with colleges in the area to give students guidance and a chance to learn about different tech jobs.
Q2. Does the Del Rio Elementary cafeteria serve healthy hot meals every day?
Ans. Every day, the school serves breakfast and lunch to all students. The meals are made with fresh ingredients and have a good balance of nutrients.
Q3. Does Del Rio Elementary use a certain digital platform for parents and teachers to talk to each other?
Ans. Teachers mostly use ParentSquare and ClassDojo to send out important school-wide announcements and updates on what's going on in the classroom in real time.
Q4. Does Del Rio Elementary have counseling services on site?
Ans. There is a school counselor who is always there to help students with their social and emotional needs and give them advice during the school day.
Q5. Do family math or literacy nights happen at Del Rio Elementary?
Ans. Parents and students play interactive learning games at night at the school to help them improve their basic academic skills.
