Charnock Road Elementary School in Los Angeles, California is a great place to be! The school recently held a workshop on mental health for parents and caregivers. Caregivers learned things they could do to help their child's mental health. This helpful session covered important topics like how to express your feelings clearly and how to find things that make you feel bad.
The Walk to Wellness program is another way for people to get moving and meet new people. It happens every Wednesday at school. We want students and their families to be involved because it makes the school a better place to be. Charnock Road Elementary also celebrates big events in the lives of its students, like their birthdays. The principal, Kari Lee, is in charge of making sure that the school is safe and welcoming so that students can do well.
