Opened in August 2022, Woodland Pines Elementary in Auburn is quickly becoming a center of learning and growth. Following Auburn City Schools’ mission of inspiring, educating, and empowering, Woodland Pines fosters strong academics, community involvement, and student success. While its own ratings are still in their infancy, Auburn City Schools has a long history of high ratings on state assessments, with a goal of maintaining high standards in reading and math. Woodland Pines recognizes accomplishments, such as naming Adriane Smith Teacher of the Year in 2023, and collaborates with parents, using ParentSquare, among others. Woodland Pines has nurturing classrooms, engaging programs, and a supportive community; therefore is becoming one of the top elementary schools in Alabama.
