Recently, Winchester Avenue Elementary School opened a new outdoor classroom on its grounds. The outdoor space will give students more chances to learn in nature by combining classroom lessons with learning in the open air and hands-on activities. Parents and teachers were happy with the addition because it helps with both academic engagement and social-emotional growth.
