Elk Elementary Center has recently seen strong gains in student attendance thanks to a partnership with local businesses, including ANR Construction, Affiliated Financial Group, and Affiliated Insurance Solutions. These organizations provided attendance prizes such as bicycles to motivate students, helping boost daily attendance and increase school pride. Regular attendance is closely linked to better academic outcomes and stronger school engagement.
Q1. What chances are there to learn by doing?
Ans. Students do experiments, interactive lessons, and activities that teach them about the real world.
Q2. What does the school do to help new students?
Ans. New students can get used to things by doing orientation activities, meeting their teachers, and getting help from staff.

Ans. Families can take part in workshops, school events, and programs where they can volunteer.

Ans. There are programs for wellness, mindfulness activities, and counseling support.
Q5. How do people celebrate their successes?
Ans. Awards, announcements, and celebrations in the classroom are ways to honor students' achievements.
