At the grand opening of a new Burlington Coat Factory store in Carson City, Jacks Valley Elementary was selected as the beneficiary of the store’s “Adopt a Classroom” program — receiving a US $5,000 donation to support school supplies.According to the school’s principal, these funds will help cover start-up supplies which otherwise would be financially burdensome for teachers.
