On December 6, 2025, the school will hold its annual Holiday Craft Fair, which will include arts and crafts, food, and activities for the whole family.

The school had a "Coffee with the Counselors" event on October 15, 2025, to teach parents and students about how to stay safe online.

The district is switching to a cashless payment system (an online school-cash platform) for all Rio Rancho Public Schools campuses, including Cielo Azul, starting in the 2025–26 school year.
