Being Updated
Animas Elementary School took part in the new Elementary Reading Initiative (ERI), which started in late 2025. The ERI wants to help all kids in elementary school read better. The first data from the district shows that schools like Animas saw a 62% rise in 4th graders' reading skills. This is a strong sign that early literacy support is starting to work.
