Sandia Elementary is starting the 2025–26 school year with a lot of new energy and fun things for students to do. The school just opened registration for the district's free "Wildcadette Dance Clinic" for 3rd to 5th graders. This is a popular after-school program that combines movement, creativity, and community spirit.

Sandia has also started its 7-week youth basketball season through the Clovis Municipal Schools Youth Program. This gives students in grades K–5 a chance to work together, stay active, and have fun competing in a healthy way.
