Willa Cather Elementary School recently held its December Spirit Week. The event featured themed days that encouraged student and staff participation. The activities helped build school spirit and community engagement.
Q1. What does Willa Cather do to help students find keywords in story problems?
Ans. Students learn to find math words in word problems that suggest addition, subtraction, or comparison. This procedure helps them choose strategies with confidence.
Q2. How does the school get kids to start thinking about transparency and opacity?
Ans. Students use flashlights to test things to see which ones let light through and which ones completely block it.
Q3. What habits help people use the whiteboard responsibly?
Ans. Students follow rules for how to use markers, how to erase things, and how to clean up the board to keep things in order and in excellent shape.
Q4. How does Willa Cather help people learn how to take notes?
Ans. Teachers tell students to write down simple words, draw pictures, or use symbols during lessons to help them remember important ideas.
Q5. What does the school do to make cooperative indoor play better?
