Conestoga Magnet Elementary School reopened its in-school savings branch in November 2025 through a partnership with Dayspring Bank Metro and the Nebraska Department of Banking & Finance. The program now has over 30 student depositors, with Dayspring matching each first deposit up to $5.

Ans. Students participate in structured speaking, listening, and media literacy activities that go along with the school's communications-focused magnet theme.

Ans. Conestoga utilizes district-supported tools and age-appropriate media projects. These projects help students learn how to plan, record, and present information.
Q3. How does the magnet program help people work together to solve problems?
Ans. Group tasks, project discussions, and communication-based challenges help students learn how to work together and share their thoughts in a useful way.
Q4. How does Conestoga help people learn new words?
Ans. Teachers use clear vocabulary instruction, context clues, and visual aids that are in line with OPS literacy practices.
Q5. What do inquiry activities do at Conestoga?
Ans. Students do guided research tasks, ask questions, and get information from books and digital sources that the district has approved.
