Cody Elementary School reported that construction on a new playground is currently underway. The project is expected to be completed before the next school year.

Ans. Teachers use the same steps for materials, transitions, and task organization every time so that students learn how to be responsible and manage themselves.
Q2. How does the school support early science exploration?
Ans. Cody takes OPS science units that include hands-on activities, observation tasks, and guided discussions to help him become more curious and learn how to think like a scientist.

Ans. Students learn how to use district-approved tools and library resources that are appropriate for their age to acquire information.
Q4. How does Cody help students talk to each other in a positive way?
Ans. Teachers help students learn how to listen and talk to each other in a respectful way by using partner-sharing routines, discussion prompts, and guided practice.
