The Harrison County School District (which includes Harrison Central Elementary) was recently awarded a grant under the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program — meaning students at Harrison Central Elementary will get free fresh fruit and vegetable snacks during the 2025-2026 school year. The grant is part of a larger district-wide push to promote healthier eating and good nutrition for children.
Q1. What kinds of clubs or special programs does the school have?
Ans. Students can join clubs for art, music, robotics, and reading to help them think critically and be creative.

Ans. Harrison Central has counselors and wellness programs to help students with their mental and social health.

Ans. Parents can help out, go to workshops, and get involved in events organized by the PTA or the school.

Ans. Yes, students can use computers, tablets, and educational software to learn in a fun way.
