School garden revitalized by students — In March 2025, gifted students at Central Elementary worked together to renovate and revive the school garden, planting fruit bushes, vegetables, pollinator plants and native plants. The project — part of a wider environmental-education initiative — aims to teach students about where food comes from, ecology, and life skills like gardening
