Mueller Aerospace and Engineering Magnet Elementary School is encouraging site visits for prospective families as magnet applications opened in October 2025. The visits offer parents an opportunity to learn about programs and available pathways.
Q1. How does Mueller use aerospace and engineering to help students learn?
Ans. Mueller fosters innovative thinking and problem-solving skills in students by providing them with hands-on STEM challenges, engineering design tasks, and aerospace-themed projects.
Q2. What rules do students at Mueller have to follow?
Ans. The school stresses respect, responsibility, and teamwork, which makes students more likely to work together and safely in classrooms and labs.
Q3: In what ways does Mueller keep families informed?
Ans. Parents get news about projects, events, and reminders through newsletters, magnet communication, and teacher messages.
Q4. How can families get involved in the magnet program?
Ans. Families are welcome to come to STEM nights, help out with project showcases, and help with classroom activities that have to do with engineering and aerospace.
Q5: How does Mueller help students grow socially and emotionally?
Ans. Students learn how to work together, talk to each other, and control themselves through SEL lessons and staff help when they are working in groups or solving problems.
