Kensler Elementary School partnered with the University of Kansas School of Medicine–Wichita and Bike Walk Wichita to repaint crosswalks around the campus. The project improved pedestrian safety and strengthened community collaboration.

Ans. Kensler teaches students to be polite, responsible, and kind by setting clear rules that apply in the classroom, hallways, and playground.
Q2. What does Kensler do to make sure that students arrive and leave safely?
Ans. The school has set traffic patterns and supervised entry points so that students can move around safely and smoothly every day.

Ans. Families get news, events, and schoolwide reminders through newsletters, website posts, and messages from teachers.
Q4. What can parents do to help at Kensler?
Ans. Parents can help out, join parent groups, and go to school events that help kids learn and strengthen the ties between home and school.
Q5. What does Kensler do to help students stay healthy?
Ans. Staff teach SEL strategies, encourage healthy communication, and offer counseling support to students who need help dealing with their feelings or problems with other students.
