Irving Elementary School held its third annual Walk to School Day in fall 2025. Students, families, and staff joined together to promote healthy activity and safe transportation.
Q1. What values help shape the behavior expectations at Irving Elementary?
Ans. Irving teaches kids to be kind, respectful, and responsible, which helps them build positive habits that help them learn and get along with others.
Q2. What does Irving do to make sure that everyone gets to and from school safely?
Ans. The school keeps students safe by using supervised drop-off and pick-up zones and following set traffic patterns.
Q3. How does Irving communicate with families?
Ans. Parents get news about events, reminders, and announcements through newsletters, school posts, and teacher communication.
Q4. How can parents get involved at Irving?
Ans. Families can volunteer, join school groups, and go to events that help build partnerships between home and school.
Q5. What does Irving do to help students grow socially and emotionally?
Ans. Irving teaches SEL skills such as working together, solving problems, and being aware of your feelings. Counselors are available to help if you need it.
