Christa McAuliffe Academy welcomed Kansas native and NASA astronaut Brigadier General Nick Hague in September 2025. He spoke to students about his space missions and emphasized the importance of STEM education, inspiring young learners to dream big.

Ans. Every day, the school expects students to show respect, responsibility, and safety. Students are praised for doing things that show good character and making good choices.

Ans. Staff keep an eye on certain entry points and follow a set traffic pattern so that students can safely and orderly get on and off campus.

Ans. Parents get news about upcoming events, reminders, and school announcements through newsletters, the school website, and messages from teachers.
Q4. What chances do parents have to get involved at Christa McAuliffe?
Ans. Families can help build the school community by volunteering, helping with classroom activities, going to school events, and joining parent groups.
Q5. How does the school help students learn about their feelings and relationships?
Ans. Through SEL activities and help from counselors and trusted staff members, students learn how to solve problems, control their emotions, and work together.
