Valley Park Elementary started the school year with a heartwarming event. For this the opening of a brand-new inclusive playground that is safe and fun for kids of all ages and abilities. The playground has sensory-friendly play areas, swings that everyone can use, and interactive learning stations. All the families and staff say this is a thoughtful improvement that already feels like a gift to the whole community.
The school threw a fun "Park Day" festival to celebrate. Families, students, and teachers came together and enjoy the games, listen to music, and eat together, which made everyone feel like they belonged and brought new life to the campus. Teachers said the day was one of the most exciting things that had happened in a long time.
