Overland Park Elementary School is starting the new season with a lot of energy and a strong boundation for connect with the community people. With the help of Principal Dominic Flora, the school has rededicated itself to building a "kindness first" culture that encourages students to be kind, respectful, and helpful in their daily interactions. Teachers adding many activities that help kids get along, settle fights peacefully, and celebrate many events.

The school organised a family open house that was warm and welcoming. New family members look around the classrooms, meet the staff, and talk about what they improvement they can do in coming year. Parents liked how friendly the school was and how easy it was to talk to teachers in a calm setting.
