Being Updated
Hillcrest just completed a major facility upgrade: a new shade pavilion and ecological “rain garden” over the picnic area of the accessible Ryan Gray Playground for All Children. The project was designed and built by architecture students at University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design, with funding from community grants, PTO efforts, and in-kind support — a strong example of community-school partnership.
