Latest News

Students and staff at Thomas A. Edison Elementary School are getting ready for solar eclipse that will happen soon. To make the event a hands-on science lesson, teachers have changed how they teach in class. For instance, they have lessons that teach kids how the moon and sun move in relation to each other, and they have fun role-playing games where younger kids can "become" the moon or the sun. Everyone is excited and curious about the show which is organised in the school library and classrooms.

Even outside of astronomy, Edison has a strong sense of community. Students learn more about their interests, they make friends, and they feel like they belongs to this creative clubs, art projects, and events where they can talk to other kids.
