The leaders at Meridian Elementary School recently announced a new wellness program to help students' social and emotional health. It includes weekly mindfulness sessions, outdoor play, and "friendship circles." The goal is to help kids become more emotionally strong, empathetic, and calm at school. Families' early feedback shows that students are more relaxed and open in class.
