Lincoln Elementary School in Caldwell recently started a new literacy program called "Readers Rise Together." Its goal is to get kids to love books by having reading time every day at school and getting families involved. The program started with a fun assembly where students dressed up as their favorite characters from storybooks and teachers acted out short scenes from popular children's books.
Q1. Does Lincoln have programs for physical education?
Ans. Students take PE classes once a week that focus on fitness and working together.
Q2. Are there programs for music?
Ans. Students can take choir and instrumental classes.
Q3. Is there help for people who are learning English?
Ans. Lincoln has ESL programs to help people who don't speak English as their first language.
Q4. Does the school want students to be aware of the environment?
Ans. Students take part in recycling programs and garden projects.
Q5. Are there trips to the field?
Ans. Lincoln Elementary sets up field trips to local museums and other community sites to teach students.
