Sand Lake Elementary School in Anchorage, Alaska, is a public school for kids in prekindergarten through sixth grade (PK–6). There are about 468 students at the school, and there is one teacher for every 17 students, which is a little better than the district average. Sand Lake Elementary has a well-rounded academic program that includes STEM, arts, and social-emotional learning activities, as well as reading and math. There is a lot of excitement at Sand Lake Elementary in Anchorage, Alaska! The school recently held a PTSA General Meeting and Movie Night, which brought parents, students, and teachers together and made them feel like they were part of a community. It was a great chance for families to get together and spend time together.
