There is an exciting new project going on at Mountain View Elementary in Anchorage, Alaska. Starting in 2026, the Anchorage School District will make it easier for families to request enrollment outside of their neighborhood school zone by changing the way the online lottery works. The goal of this change is to give students more chances to go to the schools they want to go to.
