I’d like to share my project, called the Random Number Generator. I used the Micro:bit to design this simple yet engaging activity. The way it works is straightforward: whenever I press a button on the Micro:bit, it generates a random number between 1 and 10. What makes it interesting is how this small idea can be turned into a fun game for everyone.
Here’s an example. Imagine playing with a group of friends. One person chooses a number, and if that exact number appears on the Micro:bit’s screen, they win the points that number represents. This turns a basic project into something interactive and competitive. It’s not just about seeing a random number—it’s about using that number to spark excitement, fun, and even teamwork.
The project also shows how coding can transform a simple idea into something more creative. Normally, many Micro:bit projects use shaking as the trigger, but I decided to add button control instead. This gives players more choice and makes the game smoother to use. I believe that with a little more work, I could expand this idea into different versions, like guessing higher or lower, or even setting challenges with timers.
In conclusion, my Random Number Generator may look simple at first, but it has endless possibilities for games and interactive activities. Thank you for giving me the chance to present it today. I hope you enjoyed learning about it, and I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.
