Cloudeye The Weather Monitoring App Detecting Natural Disasters By Ajitesh

MoonCampaign by AJITESH (7 years)

Ajitesh is an 8-year-old innovator and the creative mind behind CloudEye, a smart weather app designed to detect natural disasters early and help protect people, animals, and nature. Inspired by seeing the damage from the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. Ajitesh wondered: “What if an app could warn everyone sooner, so we could save lives and even trees and animals?” His big idea turned into CloudEye, showing that no one is too young to make a real difference in the world!

🌿 Story: Why I Created CloudEye

Hello, my name is Ajitesh Vajpayee, and I am the CEO and Founder of CloudEye.

What truly inspired me to create this app was witnessing how natural disasters were destroying so much more than just homes and buildings — they were taking the lives of people, animals, and millions of trees.
And I realized that if these disasters keep increasing, we risk losing entire forests and ecosystems, something no living being can afford.

The turning point for me was during the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.
Seeing the devastation unfold — entire green belts reduced to ash, wildlife fleeing, families displaced — made it painfully clear that by the time most alerts reached people, it was already too late.

I thought: “What if technology could help us see danger coming sooner, not just for us, but to protect every part of nature too?”

That’s why I created CloudEye:
An app that doesn’t just show tomorrow’s forecast, but actively detects natural disasters early — using real-time data from satellites, global monitoring systems, and AI predictions — so we can warn people faster, save more lives, and help protect the forests and animals who can’t speak for themselves.

Because I believe that technology should do more than inform us about the weather — it should help us protect the world we share.

The Future Belongs to Critical Thinkers

Hard Truth About Future of Work

WEF's Future of Jobs Report 2025 reveals that 40% of employers expect to reduce their workforce where AI can automate tasks . While AI is projected to create 69 million new jobs globally by 2030, it will simultaneously eliminate 83 million positions, particularly in clerical, administrative, and routine cognitive roles. The message is clear: routine tasks are being automated, but critical thinking and communication skills cannot be replaced.

What AI Can Never Replace:
  • Critical Thinking & Analysis

Rated by 78% of business executives as the most important skill they seek, yet only 34% of college graduates arrive well-prepared in this area

  • Communication Skills

Essential for collaboration, innovation, and leadership in STEM fields

  • Problem-Solving

The ability to break down complex, unprecedented challenges and devise creative solutions

  • Adaptability & Resilience

Mental agility to assess new situations and pivot strategies in rapidly changing environments

MoonCampaign Prepares the Next Generation

When students (ages 7-16) build projects, they're not just learning to code, they're developing the future-proof skills that AI cannot replicate:

  • Technical Skills:

Arduino programming, sensor integration, conditional logic, and hardware troubleshooting

  • Critical Thinking:

Analyzing real-world safety problems, designing solutions, and debugging when things don't work as expected

  • Communication:

Articulating their process, presenting their work, and explaining complex technical concepts in accessible language

  • Digital Marketing & Entrepreneurship:

Showcasing their innovations publicly, building their personal brand, and learning to pitch their ideas

  • Problem-Solving:

Overcoming challenges like mixed-up variables and incorrect responses through systematic troubleshooting
