Jennifer Turfler

Jennifer Turfler is an Academic Advising and College Admissions Consultant based in San Diego, California. Currently a College Counselor & Editor with Blue Stars Admissions Consulting since April 2021, she works with teens to develop well-rounded profiles showcasing their character and academic strengths. She guides students through school selection, essay writing, and the entire application process, helping them achieve admission to top institutions such as Cornell, Brown, UC Berkeley, Stanford, and Carnegie Mellon. Her recent results include acceptances to Harvard, UCLA, UNC Chapel Hill, and various other prestigious universities for the classes of 2024 and 2025.

Jennifer's background includes serving as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor for UC San Diego's Global Health Program (2016–2018), where she assisted students with goal setting, career planning, and transfer advising. She also worked as a College Admissions Consultant for Ivy Experience and a College Essay Specialist for College Planning Source. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Alliant International University, including Student Services Publications Coordinator and Partnership Coordinator for the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence.

Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Guidance and Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Diego State University. She also earned a Certification in English Literature from the University of Cambridge. She is a breast cancer survivor, having battled the disease for three years while demonstrating resilience and dedication to her personal and professional growth.
