Adam Lips

Dr. Adam Lips is the Director of College Counseling at Stanford University Online High School in Stanford, California, a position he has held since September 2011. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he is a seasoned counseling professional with deep expertise in the selective admissions landscape. Beyond his practice, Adam contributes to the field through scholarship, having conducted and published research on college admission and financial aid policy.

Prior to his current leadership role, Adam founded and directed Viridian College Consulting from November 2010 to September 2011. His background includes significant tenure in university admissions offices; he served as Senior Assistant Dean of Admission at Emory University from July 2001 to July 2005 and as an Admission Counselor at Loyola University Chicago from October 1999 to June 2001. While pursuing his doctorate, he worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from August 2005 to April 2009.?
