Phillips Preparatory Middle School

Phillips Preparatory Middle School is a public magnet school for kids in grades 6 through 8. People say it has high academic standards and helps students do well. At the school, there are about 18:1 students teacher ratio. This lets students work together and help each other with their homework. According to state tests, about half of the students are good at math and 87% are good at reading. A lot of people in Alabama don't do this, so it's a lot better.
