About Stephen Foster Elementary School

Stephen Foster Elementary School, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is continually working to develop a safe, inclusive, academically-centered environment for all Pre-K-5 students. In 2021, the school was recognized as a National PTA School of Excellence, reflecting its commitment to family and community partnerships. Students are supported in a number of different areas; however, we do provide the students with counseling services, character education, and Positive Behavior Interventions support. Parents are supported through their active PTA board, community events that are offered at the school throughout the school year, and online engagement that reinforces student learning opportunities. Their goal is to develop students' learning skills in reading, math, and also their personal growth. Stephen Foster Elementary is producing responsible and confident learners, which is one reason they are regarded as one of the best elementary schools in Fort Lauderdale.
