Ray E. Kilmer Elementary School is one of Colorado's best Elementary Schools. It has a great record of academic achievement and caring for each of its students in a close knit educational environment. About 320 students attend Ray E. Kilmer, ranging from ages Pre-K-6th grade, while it has ranked among the top 10% statewide for consistent academic performance. Over 60% of the students are proficient in math and nearly 70% are proficient in reading - both rates well above the average in Colorado. The student teacher ratio is low, usually around 13–15:1, which means students are supported individually and by strong teacher attention. Ray E.
