Hannah Pierpont

Hannah Pierpont is the Owner and Independent College Consultant at Pierpont Educational Consulting LLC, which she established in October 2023 in Groton, Massachusetts. She guides students through a process of reflection, exploration and action to determine what they want and need out of college. Her primary goals are to reduce stress and anxiety around the process, bring affordability to the forefront of college search discussions, and ensure students develop useful skills and personal agency through the experience. Her role grew out of her extensive background in international and domestic university admissions, career services and educational program management.

Before launching her own practice, Hannah worked at Lawrence Academy from October 2019 to July 2022, first as a College Counseling Office Assistant and then as Registrar. She also served as an Educational Consultant at AHP Educational Consulting from 2014 to 2015. Her earlier career in higher education includes serving as Director of Recruitment in the Office of Career Services at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University from 2001 to 2003, Program and Project Manager at EF Englishtown from 2000 to 2001, Assistant Director of Admissions and Coordinator of International Admissions at Pine Manor College from 1996 to 1998, and Admissions Counselor at St. Lawrence University in 1995.

Hannah holds an Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine, completed in September 2024, a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies and Spanish from Dickinson College.
