About Westchester Square Academy

Westchester Square Academy is a public high school in the New York City Public Schools, for grades 9-12. The school has about 600 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 15:1, so there is support for academics and guidance for college. Westchester Square Academy is focused on college readiness, humanities and STEM, with Advanced Placement coursework and exams. AP participation rate is 41%. Westchester Square Academy (WSA) recently launched a student-led personal hygiene awareness campaign that has earned the school a $15,000 grant and a place on BronxNet for its advocacy.
