Foothill Elementary School is an excellent K-5 school in the Boulder Valley School District focused on educational excellence, learning innovation, and building a strong community culture. The school currently has around 430 students who are achieving at excellent rates, with 78% reading at grade level and 69% of its students at or above grade level in math, well above the state averages in Colorado. Foothill offers engaging enrichment programs, Every student is engaged in hands-on learning opportunities through a dynamic MakerSpace, STEM-based curriculum, and their outdoor learning garden. Foothill is a Green Star School with multiple sustainability initiatives and solar panels that contribute to using clean energy. Foothill has proudly received the John Irwin Schools of Excellence award and the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award. The PTO is very supportive and family engagement is active and parents.
