Rehan created an RGB color mixer using an Arduino Uno to blend red, green, and blue light to produce custom colors. By adjusting the input values for each color channel, users can control the intensity of each primary color through PWM pins. This project offers a hands-on way to learn about color mixing and the versatile capabilities of Arduino in controlling lighting effects.
In this project, I created an RGB color mixer using an Arduino Uno. The goal of the project was to mix different levels of red, green, and blue light to produce various colors. By adjusting the values of the red, green, and blue colors, users can create their own custom hues. This was done by controlling three RGB LEDs using the Arduino’s PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) pins to adjust the brightness of each color channel.
The Arduino is programmed to take input from a set of controls (like potentiometers or buttons), allowing users to change the intensity of each of the primary colors—red, green, and blue. These adjustments affect the resulting color shown by the RGB LED. This project allowed me to understand how color mixing works in both the physical and digital worlds.
This RGB mixer is a fun and interactive way to learn about the combination of different colors, and how the Arduino can be used to control and manipulate lighting effects!
