Step 2: Create a water source
Next, you’ll need to create a water source. You can find a water block and place it in a spot where it can flow freely. If you don’t have a water source, you can create one by using a bucket to collect water from a river or lake.
Step 3: Place the water and lava
Now it’s time to create the obsidian! Place the water source next to the lava source, and ensure the water flows onto the lava. This will cause the lava to cool and turn into obsidian.
