Today, we’re gonna learn how to make a super cool lectern that’ll take your game to the next level. So grab your pickaxe, and let’s get crafting!

    Step 1: Gather Your Materials

To make a lectern, you’re gonna need a few things. Here’s the list of what you’ll need:

    • 4 wooden slabs: You can use any type of wood you want. I personally love the rustic look of oak, but it’s totally up to you. You can try acacia and spruce if you wanna!
    • 1 book: Now, you can find books in chests or even craft them yourself. You’ll need 3 pieces of paper and 1 piece of leather to craft a book. Super easy, right?

    Step 2: Time to Craft

Now that you’ve got your materials ready, it’s time to craft that lectern. Open up your crafting table and arrange the wooden slabs like this:

Step 3: Where to Put It

Now that you’ve crafted your lectern, you’ll need to find the perfect spot to place it. You can put it on the ground or even on top of other blocks. Just make sure you’ve got enough space around it to move freely.

    Step 4: Let’s Use It

Alright, now it’s time to put your lectern to good use. It’s got a couple of cool functions that’ll make your Minecraft life easier and more exciting.

    Holding Books

To place a book on the lectern, just hold the book in your hand and right-click on the lectern. The book will appear on the lectern’s platform, and you can read it whenever you want without carrying it around. It’s perfect for keeping important info at your fingertips or showing off your written works.

    Holding Books

    Displaying Enchantments

If you’ve got an enchanted book or item, you can use the lectern to display its enchantments. Just hold the enchanted book or item in your hand and right-click on the lectern. It’ll show the enchantment’s name and level, so you can easily keep track of your powerful gear.

Step 5: Let Your Creativity Flow

Now that you’ve mastered the art of making a lectern, it’s time to let your creativity soar! Experiment with multiple lecterns in your very own library or create a special enchanting corner in your Minecraft home. Combine them with bookshelves and other decorative blocks to make your world truly unique.

Remember, Minecraft is all about exploring, experimenting, and having fun! So don’t be afraid to try out new things and build your own designs using lecterns.
