    1. Time Management

You have to tend to a bundle of assignments, classes, as well as extracurricular activities, but the key to effectively covering all bases without worrying or stressing is learning the skill of Time Management in an effective manner. Nearly 87% of students stated that having effective time management skills would help them get better grades!!

Once mastered, this skill will be immensely beneficial for your future endeavors as well!! Using a Digital Planner or a Digital Calendar to keep track of your daily schedule and making sure you follow it as diligently as possible can make a big difference!!

    2. Getting A Good Sleep

This should come as a no-brainer, as getting an appropriate amount of sleep helps the human body to be well-rested and remain energized throughout the day. A study shows close to 57.8% of Middle Schoolers and 72.7% of High Schoolers do not receive adequate sleep

A person who receives a minimum of 7-8 hours of sleep each night and has a healthy sleep cycle is able to focus more while studying and has improved concentration.

    3. Minimize Distractions

One of the major obstacles to productivity is distraction. To minimize distractions, try to find a quiet study space where you can concentrate without interruptions. Turn off your mobile phone or put it on silent mode, and consider using website blockers to prevent yourself from getting distracted by social media applications or other online distractions.

    4. Take A Breather

It’s always a good idea to recharge and refocus!! Regular breaks can help bring down stress levels. On the days when you’re highly occupied in your studies, then consider taking a 5-10 minute break for every hour of studying, and use this time to stretch, go for a short walk or do something else that helps you relax your mind.

    5. Prioritize Your Tasks

When you have too much on your hands, it can become overwhelmingly difficult to complete tasks; prioritizing tasks can help complete all tasks without getting flustered! The key is ranking the tasks you need to complete according to the importance their completion holds.

    6. Stay Motivated Towards Your Goals

If you are aiming for your dream college, then staying motivated can be helpful for you in the long run. Setting small and achievable goals for yourself and then rewarding yourself on their completion can be one way of motivating yourself, other methods are joining a study group with other like-minded individuals with similar goals.

    7. Ask for Help

You shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. If you’re facing any issue at school or struggling with a particular subject, consider asking your teacher or counselor for help, or schedule an extra-tutoring service. Your teachers, professors, and classmates are all valuable resources that can help you stay on track and achieve the goals which you have been working hard for.

    8. Practice Self-Care

As students, you should learn that self-care is important for ensuring the well-being of the mind and body. Almost 66% of students have reported anxiety making self-care a priority among students. Interestingly self-care can be in any form; it can be as simple as taking time out to read your favorite books or watering your plants to hanging out with close friends; the choice is completely yours to make!
