    Here are 5 of the best museums you won’t want to miss!

    1. Great Explorations Children’s Museum

    In case you are traveling to Florida with children, there is a museum even adults will enjoy visiting. This museum in St. Petersburg is for small hands with energetic and eager minds. They can learn about meteorology, agriculture, nutrition, architecture, and more through hands-on experience.   

    For instance, children can become a veterinarian for a day or become a firefighter, or even host a weather forecast. There are more places on the same property, such as Sunken Gardens, that you and the children might enjoy.

    2. Kennedy Space Center

    This place on Merritt Island gives you a journey through time and space. After entering the Kennedy Space Centre, you get to see the iconic Rocket Garden and the remnants of the Gemini, Apollo, and Mercury missions. You can even take a tour or explore on your own. 

    This game is partly located indoors and partly outdoors. It is situated on the same property where most of NASA in Florida exists. Interestingly, it is minutes away from all the hangers and launchpads utilized for spacecraft.

    3. Orlando Science Center

    A fantastic family destination, this four floors center boasts thrilling exhibits, spectacular giant screens and 3-D films, and captivating live programming. Whether you’re looking for an exciting day out or a rainy day escape, you are sorted!

    When you step into the main premises of this indoor, interactive science museum, a large sweeping staircase that wraps around the Florida Everglades’ living reconstruction will welcome you. It comes with residents snapping turtles and fish. You can tour the air-conditioned version of the Floridian wilderness. 

    There is an opportunity to learn about the water table, sinkholes, and native wildlife. Once you move up, you see flight simulators, dinosaur bones, and kinetic sand. There are several hands-on earth and physics science exhibits available in the place.

    4. St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum

    This museum in St. Augustine will take you back to the Port Royal from the 1600s, where you will hear cannon fire ringing in your ears. It will provide an ambiance of the golden age of piracy with an immersive and interactive experience. It is possible to view the artifacts from sunken ships, stand at the skipper’s wheel, and learn about tying sailor’s knots. 

    You may also view the props from some famous pirate movies from the colorful and vibrant halls of the museum. The museum is full of different exhibits and artifacts in its rooms.

    5. John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art

    From exhibitions, performances, family programs, and special events to picnics in the Dwarf Garden and the Playspace and David F. Bolger Playspace  – you may do a lot at the Ringling, a culturally rich museum. On the same campus, there are three museums: an art museum, a circus museum, and Ca’d’Zan. 

    John Ringling, who was in charge of the Ringling Bros. Circus, developed the property in the 1920s. Living in the same place, he and his wife, Mabel, collected art of all kinds. The majority of the art museum is made up of their belongings. You may admire colorful glass windows and antique furnishings at the House of John.
